Hello to all. Just as last year, I will use this blog to keep everyone informed as best as I can. I will post daily homework, links to help students learn the material and electronic copies of material distributed to students (projects' ins and outs). Last year, this blog was very useful to students who had to miss school (flu season), to those who forgot to write down the HW on their planners, or to those who had trouble reading their quick notes about homework. Although this blog will serve as a back up school planner, I may occasionally forget to post it before students' HW time. If this is the case, please email me a quick reminder, and I will promptly add the work that needs to be done.

This year brings a few changes to Roosevelt. The most important is that our classes are larger, and students will need to be even more mindful of their behavior and very cooperative.  I encourage students to keep a close eye on their scores through Basmati, and adjust their academic behavior if necessary.

French Immersion students have a core class that meets every day to cover part of the social study and language arts program of middle school. Students take one class each term (Writing with a French Twist) specifically aimed at strengthening their writing skills. For their 4th class, students have a Découverte class; a class designed to explore a subject area and enrich students' general knowledge, essential skills (reading / writing / speaking) and vocabulary in French.

On the right menu, students will find a direct link to each class they are taking with me, as well as links pertinent to all French Immersion students.

I am looking forward to a productive and exciting academic year with all of you.
